| Information | Stephen Sheffield, a native of the Boston Area, is an alumnus of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY where he obtained a BFA in Painting/Mixed Media with a minor in photography. He received his MFA in photography from California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland, CA, studying with Larry Sultan, Jean Finley and others.
Stephen has exhibited nationally for many years, has a number of large and small-scale commissions in Boston, Cambridge and Brooklyn NY, and his work has been featured in many national and international publications. Stephen runs the advanced black and white silver photography department at the New England School of Photography, and is represented by the Panopticon Gallery in Boston, MA. | |
